To help technical personnel in the industry and enterprises enhance their theoretical literacy and technical proficiency, accurately grasp the development trends of the industry, and at the same time promote the transformation and application of research and development achievements by scholars from universities and broaden the promotion paths of teaching achievements, the editorial department of "Compressor Technology" actively plays the role of a bridge and link, coordinating and organizing in-depth cooperation and exchange activities between industry and enterprises and the editorial board members of universities and colleges.

From March 25th to 26th, 2026, the first exchange activity was successfully held. The editorial department specially invited Professor Wu Weifeng from the School of Energy and Power Engineering and Professor Yu Xiaoling from the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology of Xi 'an Jiaotong University to conduct specialized training and exchange guidance at industry enterprises in Shenyang.

During the training period, the two professors, drawing on their own research fields and industry practical experience, provided in-depth and systematic explanations on the principles of compressors, thermal and power calculations, and key structural points of core components such as gas valves for the technical backbone and relevant practitioners of the enterprise. The content was both theoretical and practical, effectively filling the weak links in professional knowledge of the enterprise's technical personnel. After the training, the two professors also visited the enterprise's production and test base on the spot, gaining a detailed understanding of the enterprise's production process, technical bottlenecks and development needs. They also held a discussion and exchange with the enterprise's leaders and core backbone, exchanging views and reaching consensus on topics such as solving technical problems and deepening industry-university-research cooperation.
